In memory of S. Jerome Greenfield

The last time we spoke he was heartsick about what the Bush Two government would do to his grandchildren’s futures and I thought how irreparably unfair it was that doctors who saved lives in wars and saved sight , including mine, went to their graves with similar pain, and if I have learned nothing from the 2020 election I have learned that doing for others helps keep them alive, helps keep the beasts at bay.
